The mechanic that worked on my vehicle had no problem putting it at the top of his priority list. However, afterwards the same problem occurred. Which is fine because it was covered under warranty, but what is not fine is having a completely rude person answer the phone and blow off everything you are saying consistently when you need the warranty information.
Absolutely horrible experience. I went in for an oil change and all of a sudden they started picking out all kinds of rust and other issues that they claim should have failed inspection which I had had a couple weeks prior. Then they said they should call the state police for inspection fraud but they supposed they would let it go if I got my rotors done for $100 a piece. After looking it up on my phone I found both rotors for only $42. Once I had made it clear that I wasn't buying anything and I would fix it myself they called the police. The garage held me for 2 hours with my car up on the lift even though I stated multiple times that they could call the police, but I wanted to leave. They could send them to my house. Pretty much extortion and damn near kidnapping, as well as making me an hour late to get home to my son which cost me an extra $25 in babysitting fees. The state police inspection officer came the next day and out of everything they said was wrong, the only thing he failed was the rear bumper reinforcement and the station number was not written in on the sticker. Still trying to get my car inspected but now no one will do it for me. It's been a nightmare...
Thanks monro guys!
Just be aware that they can only do so many cars a day and you can't just walk in demanding the world. It doesn't work like that.
Tried charging me 1200 some dollars for a 300 dollar repair. Guys were very rude and sexist about me having my sister who probably knows more about cars then tbey know about door knobs.
This happened a few months ago but I took my car there to have tires mounted balanced and installed. The first day I tried to do this I took the car in the morning as I was told and was told I would have it back in a couple of hours. After 8 hours I called to inquire about my car and was met with a rude employee who stated they would get to it tomorrow to which I stated I had to pick up the car as I needed it for a trip the next day. Went to get the car and he slammed my keys on the counter and was rude when rescheduling. I did get my tires mounted which was fine until inspecting them and I noticed they mounted a directional tire backwards on the wheel and also gouged my wheels when installing the tire. Took my car to another shop and they fixed the tire direction however the short time it took to get an appointment cupped out my tire and it needed replaced. Just be warned when going here that staff can be rude and to inspect their work in the parking lot before leaving.
These guys are great. I know they have a rough exterior, but they're actually pretty great and definitely helped me out today. I had a flat and called and they got me in immediately. Sometimes they're not able to do that right away because they can only work on one car at a time but they got me in, plugged my tire, and sent me on my way. I highly recommend them!
