This is the nearest decently-sized grocery store to where we live, and we appreciate it a *lot*. They've got a great selection, and they, unlike our local store, have never been out of stock of something we were looking for, so far.
Martin's is a more upscale grocery store in the DuBois area, carrying items typically not available at bargain chains. Prices are a bit higher, but produce is typically fresher and lasts longer than other locations. The store is always very clean, and cashier staff is always very courteous and helpful. The bakery does an excellent job, as does the meat department.
Have the best food around and the freshest. Prices can be high so you need to be aware.
Customer service is great but the prices are to high. I understand with the gas perks but it's still pretty pricey.
The selection is reasonable. The prices are too high on their own private label brands. They are now closed from 12 am to 6 am which is a major problem for some in the Dubois area. I guess too much merchandise was walking out the door without being paid for hence they closed 12-6. The customer service desk is often customer disservice......They are often not prepared for the Sunday shop....I give it a solid three stars. A REAL Martin's / Giant are the two in State College.
If there is a specific item that you're having trouble finding, or if you're looking for more variety in produce than what "WM" carries, this is the place for you!
They also carry the products we want, again unlike our local store. We stop to pick up the things we can't get more locally every time we're in town.
