Best place ever gets my games when I want them
What a dreadful store. Ever since that one manager left a few years ago, Isaac I believe was his name, this store has just completely been distmanted and everything is in complete disarray. Now the management and staff is very unprofessional (there has been several new managers since he left and none of them have been nearly as customer service based as he and his staff was) the store is always a mess and its difficult to find anything, and the general consensus from all my gamer friends, all despise this store. Why bother going to Gamestop anyway? The prices and jacked up and almost silly how much used games are, trade in values are extremely unfair, new games are rarely sealed and aren't really "new", they ask 20 thousand questions everytime I go and it makes me insane saying no 20 times before I can finally pay. You want my money or not? I swear these people could care less about your purchase and would rather get you to spend 5 bucks for a reservation to purchase a later date instead of 56.99 for a used game that day. Then they even try and guilt me into doing a reservation. I don't need to hear, " my job is on the line if you don't". Before the staff would ask for these things, but they REMEMBERED YOU and educated you enough so they didn't have to ask you every single visit and because they educated me, I knew about these products and reserved when I wanted to. Ever since that old team left, every single new manager and staff could care less who you are. It went from being very personal experience to a robotic like experience where they are apart of the Borg. Just ridiculous. And forget ever trying to return anything without being bombarded with a 100 questions, treating you like a criminal. NONE OF US ARE SHOPPING HERE ANYMORE. Ever since that one team left years ago, its never been the same and it clearly shows how stark a contrast of a good manager who cares about his staff, the company and most of all the customers verses an unsuited and incompetent manager only caring about being on a power trip. Walmart has cheaper prices, Videogame X is more friendly environment (like GS USED to be), online is cheaper and you aren't asked a gazillion questions to make a purchase, etc etc. Just avoid this dreadful place....
so i go and get these games, it wasnt busy in the store at all they was talking to a random customer for a half hour and i go and check out, i get my games and rushed out of the store do to my baby was starting to cry cause it was around the time we feed her, well i now just look in the cases to install them to my ps3 and out of the 3 games i got, one was right disc was right and in the cd placement, the next one i opened didnt even have the game in it, and the third one had a disc but was the wrong game and it wasnt even in the cd placement it was in those yellow paper sleeves they keep them in before putting it in a case prior to selling it, now i have to drive back to dubois and its a 20 minute drive, this will be the last time i shop at this game stop!!
Terrible customer service. I bought an Xbox One on Black Friday. I went into GameStop prior to making the purchase the one female manager told me that if I buy a certain Xbox One package I'd get to choose a free game of my choice. I bought my Xbox One and picked out my free game that was promised to me. Took my system and game up to the counter to pay, went to the SAME lady that told me I could choose a free game. Turns out, I couldn't. She denied ever telling me that and then just stared at me with a stupid face. They will literally do/say anything to get your money. I would not recommend this GameStop to anymore. Terrible customer service, store is unorganized, and just awful customer service. Game-X-Change is where it's at. #GameStopSucks
